We are excited to announce that Pickerington Manor Jaw & Facial Surgery is now The Ohio Center for Oral, Facial & Implant Surgery!  Or, The OC for short. This re-branding allows us to group all of our practices under just one name and share one single phone number, 614.751.7500.

XNav Technologies, LLC announced that it has received clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for the X-Guide Dynamic 3D Navigation System. What is X-Guide? The X-Guide system is designed to elevate the surgeon's control and precision over the entire dental implant process. The result is the ability to deliver a more desirable, functional and aesthetic outcome in dental implant surgeries.

General Information about our office.

Whether you have arrived here by way of your general dentist, insurance company, or the recommendation of a friend or family member, we're grateful you have selected our office for your oral care. We're confident you'll be pleased with our services and hope you will give us the greatest compliment of referring our office to your own family and friends.

What Makes Our Office Special...

We want you to feel as comfortable and relaxed here as possible. You'll notice our office environment is warm and inviting, not cold and clinical. Our friendly staff is highly trained in the areas of patient care and hospitality. To maintain our position as the area's state-of-the-art surgical facility, we are constantly evaluating our established procedures and protocols as well as the newest, most up-to-date equipment and techniques. At The Ohio Center for Oral, Facial & Implant Surgery, you can be confident in knowing your care is in the hands of competent and compassionate professionals.

Your First Appointment...

Most often, your first appointment will be a consultation in which we review your health history, perform a thorough oral exam and discuss treatment options. Dr. Bath may also take a panoramic x-ray, or pan, to evaluate the condition of your teeth, bone structure, sinuses, jaw joints, nerves and surrounding tissues. Pans provide the more comprehensive view required by oral surgeons than the smaller x-rays, or bitewings, typically performed by your general dentist.

What To Expect During Your Treatment...

Dr. Bath enjoys spending time with his patients to ensure that all their questions are thoroughly addressed. In some instances, we may discuss a few different treatment options. Our goal is to work with you to formulate the approach most ideal for your unique circumstances. We will provide you with a copy of your customized treatment plan along with an estimate. For your convenience, we accept a number of insurance plans, and we will help you to understand your benefits. We also encourage you to ask questions. Many patients find reassurance in a full and complete understanding of their condition and proposed treatment.

Please understand that we are a surgical facility which differs greatly from your general dentist's office. We provide a variety of services with each requiring a different amount of time and attention. We realize your time is valuable, and though we make every effort to minimize your wait, occasionally we may be delayed by patients that require emergency care or other unexpected situations. Rest assured that the same courtesy of cautious and safe surgery is extended to all our patients, and your understanding when such delays occur is greatly appreciated. Again, we thank you for choosing our office for your care!

Oral Surgery

Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Bath manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. Dr. Bath practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from dental implant surgery and wisdom tooth removal to corrective jaw surgery. This also includes techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort. We can also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries, and fractures.

Cosmetic Surgery

Dr. Bath provides a wide range of cosmetic services including: Botox®, filler, lip sculpting, Kybella, laser hair removal, facial vein treatments, brown spot removal, resurfacing (traditional CO2 & the exciting new nitrogen plasma so popular in Europe & Asia), microneedling and more.  We invite you to explore our sister office, Bella Cosmedica custom aesthetics at bellacosmedica.com.

Dental Implants

Dental implants are changing the way people live. They are designed to provide a foundation for replacement teeth that look, feel, and function like natural teeth. The person who has lost teeth regains the ability to eat virtually anything, knowing that teeth appear natural and that facial contours will be preserved. Dental implants are a practical solution to what may feel like an overwhelming dilemma.
